As a member of the Ohio House of Representatives I am working in Columbus to do or undo those things that are important to the citizens of Miami and Darke Counties. To be effective in the state legislature you need a plan to solve a problem, or even better, to prevent a problem. Plus you need a strategy to get the plan enacted. I have a vision of what needs to be accomplished and the experience of working to get positive results.

I believe working as a state representative is involvement in community service. My background has included serving at the local, state and national levels. These activities have enabled me to become familiar with many persons along with their goals and concerns.

As the Upper Valley JVS Superintendent, Edison Community College Trustee, Miami County Commissioner, Miami County Board of Elections Member, and Miami County Foundation Board Director, I have developed a reputation for honesty, leadership and problem solving.
