Rep. Adams Receives "Friend of Agriculture" Award
State Representative Richard Adams recently received the 2012 Friend of Agriculture award from the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.
The OFBF selected Representative Adams for his commitment to ensuring a safe, affordable and
abundant food supply, as well as his support for Ohio's agriculture industry.
"With the important work that farmers and others in the agricultural industry do for Ohio and the
nation, it is important that we pass legislation to help them be successful," Adams said. "I'm honored
to be named a 'Friend of Agriculture' and will continue to fight for the one out of seven Ohioans that the ag industry employs."
Rep. Richard Adams Named “Watchdog of the Treasury” Award honors fiscal discipline, responsible spending of tax dollars
COLUMBUS—State Representative Richard Adams (R-Troy) recently was honored at the “Watchdog of the Treasury” award ceremony, hosted by the United Conservatives of Ohio. The award recognizes key legislators or policymakers who strive to restore responsible limited government, lower taxes, free enterprise and regulatory relief, and personal freedom.
“It is an honor to receive this award from the United Conservatives of Ohio,” said Rep. Adams. “Ensuring the responsible spending of tax payer dollars has been one of my top priorities throughout my time in the legislature. I truly believe that the best way to serve all Ohioans is by cautiously utilizing the resources that they have entrusted to us in ways that will lay the groundwork for Ohio’s future success.”
The United Conservatives of Ohio supports the responsible spending of taxpayers’ dollars, the reduction of government waste, and a free-market system of competition among private sector firms.
